We are slowly getting back to our usual routines after celebrating Christmas, New Year's and Elliot's first birthday. The reality of a Minnesota winter has sunk in- it's here to stay for awhile. On the brighter side, we have the lovely memories of the last few weeks to keep our spirits up. It was a such a pleasure to experience Christmas through the eyes of a toddler. Coco is still greeting everyone she sees with "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year." Elliot is still waiting for Santa to bring him another bottom tooth. Despite the snowstorms, busy schedules and hustle and bustle, we were lucky enough to spend some quality time with our family and friends. And the celebrations ended with a bittersweet birthday - our baby is now one year old. What a year it has been watching him grow and melting our hearts.

Elliot's First Birthday - time for a sleigh ride without his sister. Big boy! He smiled the entire time (so did I).

Blowing kisses!

"Yes, Opi, it's true, Santa is coming tonight!"

"Hurray! This is the best day ever! Check out the fancy headbands auntie Lele made me."

Every time this kid gets picked up, he gets a kiss!

We all know the challenges of getting five antsy kids to pose for a picture :) This is the best one we got!
