Winter Bread & Circuses

Coco continues to really enjoy Circus Juventas this winter. She loves wearing leotards and tutus and would wear them every day if we let her. This past weekend we stayed at Maple Lag (www.maplelag.com) with friends and family. This place is a gem. It has been a winter tradition for the Pierach family for decades. It was a spectacular weekend of skate skiing, sledding, "taking the plunge," delicious homemade meals and of course tutu-wearing. Coco even insisted upon taking the stage during the talent show. At her big moment, she froze, not remembering the words to "O Tannenbaum." Instead, she quietly proclaimed into the microphone:"I love my Mommy and Daddy," and quickly took a deep bow. Mommy and Daddy melted. Elliot could not have been happier playing with his cousins in the game room, sharing a room with his beloved "Dodo," and of course, meal times. Can't wait until next year!
